The main cattery at West Hatch contains 36 individual pens. These all have individual outside exercise areas, which lead into air conditioned sleeping areas via a cat flap.  We try to give all the cats scratching posts and things to climb on, as well as having a cosy bed inside. If the cats are nervous we give them a box to hide away in, so that they feel more secure.  Each morning all the cat pens have to be thoroughly cleaned inside and out before the public arrive on site.

Half the cattery is a homing block and the other half is an intake block. This is to cut down on airborne disease spread.
