Next to our shower room, we are lucky enough to have a dog treatment room.

This contains a fridge, scales, sink, and a grooming table.

 

When all dogs arrive they are taken to the treatment room to be weighed and checked over by the staff.

All details are recorded on an assessment sheet.

All information about the dog is recorded on this throughout it's stay.

If there are no health problems they are vaccinated, wormed, given flea treatment and identi-chipped.

 

We were also lucky enough last year to have been donated a new grooming table by supporters Mr and Mrs Marchant.

This has meant that we can easily lift dogs onto the table, and adjust the height at which we are grooming them.

This has made it much easier to groom both large and small dogs.
